Harvest completely stemmed.
Lengthy vatting. Maturing in casks with 20% new barrels, the remainder in barrels of from 1 to 5 wines for 14 months.


A wonderfully dense wine, rich, structured, with depth and great aromatic complexity.
It evolves on notes of red and dark berry fruit, spices and pepper, the expression of its character further heightened with carafing.

Game accompanied by cranberries or chutney, meat in thick sauce are all succulent matches.
